Eligibility: Qualification and Age Limit
Qualification
- ✓A full time degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognised university.
- ✓The degree rule does not apply to candidates on deputation.
Experience
- ✓Preferred: experience in Railway electric traction, general power supply and air conditioning projects.
- ✓Preferred: building electrification and road lighting works.
Eligibility
- ✓Officers working in Railways, Government departments, Central PSUs, Ports or JV companies.
- ✓CDA scale PB-3 or IDA scale officers with the years of service stated in Annexure I.
- ✓Private sector officers must meet the pay and experience rules in Annexure I.

- ✓On absorption: up to 50 years on 4 December 2026.
- ✓On deputation: up to 57 years on 4 December 2026.
