Why This Recruitment Matters
Police Constable (Communications) posts are technical entry-level roles responsible for maintaining wireless communication networks and equipment used by field police units across Andhra Pradesh, making reliable, real-time coordination possible during routine policing and emergency response operations. This 200-post recruitment offers ITI/vocational-qualified candidates a technical pathway into government service.
ITI Holders Get a Direct Government Entry Route
Unlike the general Intermediate-qualification-based Police Constable posts, this notification specifically targets candidates with ITI certificates in Electronics, Computer, or Electrical trades, or an MPC/vocational Intermediate background, giving vocational education graduates a dedicated and less-competitive channel into the Andhra Pradesh Police Department compared to the general recruitment streams.
About SLPRB, Andhra Pradesh
State Level Police Recruitment Board, Andhra Pradesh, headquartered at Mangalagiri, Guntur District, is the designated recruitment authority for technical and non-technical posts across the Andhra Pradesh Police Department.
Final Word
This SLPRB AP recruitment offers 200 Police Constable (Communications) posts for ITI/vocational-qualified candidates aged 18-24. Eligible candidates should keep monitoring slprb.ap.gov.in for the official application schedule.
