Eligibility: Qualification and Age Limit

Eligible officers

• Officers of the Central Armed Police Forces, Central Government, State Government or Union Territory.
• Holding an analogous post on regular basis, or with 6 years regular service in Level 5 (₹29,200 to ₹92,300).

SI (Medic)

• Basic Nursing Assistant or Medic course.
• Advance Nursing Assistant or Advance Medic course.
• 6 years as Nursing Assistant in a 100 bedded hospital.

SI (Lab Technician)

• Class 12 pass from a recognised board.
• 2 year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or Technology.
• 6 years as Laboratory Technician in a lab or a 100 bedded hospital.

SI (Physiotherapist)

• Class 12 pass from a recognised board.
• 2 year Diploma in Physiotherapy.
• 6 years as Physiotherapist in a centre or a 100 bedded hospital.

Other conditions

• Candidates must be medically fit.
• Deputation time, with the earlier post, is not ordinarily more than 3 years.
