Eligibility: Qualification and Age Limit

Essential

• PhD in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Hydrology or a closely related field.
• Candidates who have submitted their thesis may apply, subject to Institute rules.
• Research experience in two of these areas: hydrological modelling, remote sensing and GIS, flood mapping, or water systems modelling.
• Experience with numerical modelling and scientific programming.
• Peer reviewed publications or similar research output.

Marks

• At least 60% from graduation onwards, and 55% in classes 10 and 12.

Desirable

• Hands-on work with hydrological and hydrodynamic models for flood and drought.
