- ✓A good academic record with a PhD in the concerned, allied or relevant discipline.
- ✓At least 8 years of teaching or research experience equivalent to Assistant Professor.
- ✓Of this, at least 2 years should be in the Associate Professor level scale.
- ✓A total research score of 75 as per Appendix II, Table 2.
