Qualification
- ✓A Master’s degree in the concerned discipline with at least 55 percent marks or equivalent grade.
- ✓NET by ICAR, UGC or CSIR, or a similar test like SLET or SET.
- ✓A PhD as per UGC Regulations also exempts a candidate from NET.

- ✓Fisheries posts: B.F.Sc., a four year degree, with at least 55 percent marks.
- ✓Horticulture posts: B.Sc. Horticulture or B.Sc. Agriculture with 55 percent marks.
- ✓Basic Sciences posts: B.Sc. (PCM, PCB or ZBC) with 55 percent marks.
- ✓Engineering posts: BE or B.Tech with 55 percent marks.
