Eligibility: Qualification and Age Limit
Qualification
- ✓Genetics and Plant Breeding, Biotechnology or Bioinformatics Master’s for the molecular breeding and genomics posts.
- ✓Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry or Food Technology Master’s for the biochemistry posts.
- ✓Agricultural Extension, Economics or Agri Business Master’s for the extension and project management posts.
- ✓YP-I posts need a 3 year agriculture degree or a Master’s, as listed in the notice.
- ✓A Master’s with a 4 year Bachelor’s counts for SRF. Without NET, a 3 year Bachelor’s route counts for YP-II.
Age limit
- ✓SRF: maximum 35 years. SC, ST and women get 5 years and OBC get 3 years.
- ✓Young Professionals: 21 to 45 years, with relaxation as per Government rules.
