Eligibility

• Qualification: B.Com with at least 55% marks (50% for Scheduled Tribe candidates).
• Age: Minimum 21 and maximum 35 years as on 01.01.2026.
• Local educated unemployed youth of Chhattisgarh get up to 5 years relaxation, but the maximum age with all relaxations cannot exceed 45 years.
• For government servants, board/corporation/contract staff and Nagar Sainiks, the maximum age is 45 years.
• Must be a local resident of Chhattisgarh.
• A person who married before the legal minimum age, or who married someone already having a living spouse, is not eligible (the government may relax this).

Selection Process and Marks

Note: The notice prints two separate rows for the computer practical test (50 and 15 marks). Please check the official notice for the exact marks break-up. Candidates will be called for the computer practical test in a 1:10 ratio (category-wise). Anyone absent from the test will be out of the process. The CEO, Zila Panchayat Dhamtari, has the final say.

Contract Terms

• Contract appointment until 28 February 2027; may be extended by 1 year based on performance.
• Either side may end the contract with 1 month’s notice or 1 month’s pay.
• Leave as per Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Contract Appointment) Rules 2012; conduct as per CG Civil Services (Conduct) Rules 1965.
• No pension or gratuity after the contract ends. The job can be ended at any time without reason.
