Eligibility: Qualification and Age Limit

Technician Grade-II (Electrical), PTCUL

• High School with Science and Maths.
• ITI (NCVT or SCVT) in the Electrician trade.
• Two years of work experience in a government or registered company.
• Good knowledge of Devanagari script.

Technician Grade-II (Electrical), UJVNL

• High School with Science and Maths.
• ITI in the Electrician or Electronics trade.
• Two years of work experience after the qualification.

Technician Grade-II (Mechanical), UJVNL

• High School with Science and Maths.
• ITI in the Fitter trade.
• Two years of work experience after the qualification.

Age and other rules

• Age 18 to 42 years on 1 July 2026.
• Uttarakhand SC, ST, OBC get 5 years and Divyang 10 years relaxation.
• Candidates must be registered at an Uttarakhand employment office.
• Candidates must hold Uttarakhand domicile, as per the notice.

Salary Details

Selection Process

1. Offline objective written exam on OMR sheets.
2. 100 questions in 2 hours.
3. Each wrong answer cuts one fourth of a mark.
4. Passing marks: 45% for UR, EWS and OBC, and 35% for SC and ST.
5. Document verification after the exam.

• ITI certificate in the required trade.
• Two years experience certificate.
• Domicile and employment office registration.
• Category and horizontal reservation certificates, if any.

1. Visit sssc.uk.gov.in and register with your Aadhaar.
2. Fill educational and other details.
3. Upload your live photo, signature and thumb impression.
4. Pay the fee by card, net banking or UPI.
5. Submit by 25 November 2026 and keep the printout.
