Note: Advt 07 is for super specialties like Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Urology and Medical Oncology. Advt 08 covers Anatomy, Pathology, Medicine, Surgery, Anaesthesiology, ICU, Radiology and more. Department wise posts are in the official notices.

Eligibility: Qualification and Age Limit

Qualification

• Qualification and teaching experience as per NMC norms for each post.
• Professor: generally 3 years as Associate Professor.
• Associate Professor: generally 4 years as Assistant Professor, with research papers.
• Assistant Professor: PG degree with Senior Residency as per NMC rules.

Age limit

• Not more than 69 years on the interview date.
• Retired government faculty can also apply.

Salary Details

Selection Process

1. Report between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM for document checks.
2. Candidates after 10:30 AM are not considered.
3. Selection is through the interview before the Selection Board.
4. Results appear on www.esic.gov.in.

Documents Required

• Filled application form on A4 paper.
• Two self-attested colour photos.
• Proof of age and category certificate.
• All degree certificates and State Medical Council or NMC registration.
• Teaching experience certificates and research papers.
• Demand Draft of ₹500, if it applies, and NOC if employed.

1. Download the form from www.esic.gov.in.
2. Fill it and attach self-attested copies.
3. Make the ₹500 DD after the notice date, if you need to pay.
4. Reach the Academic Block, 2nd Floor, ESIC Joka on your department’s date.
5. Report between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM.

Important Instructions for Candidates

• Advt 08 contract is one year, renewable for two more years.
• Advt 07 contract is up to three years, renewed yearly.
• No private practice is allowed.
• No TA or DA is paid.
• A separate DD is needed for each post.
• Vacancies may change.
