The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) has released Notification No. Rc.No.234/Rect./Rect.3/2026, dated 29 July 2026, for direct recruitment to Police Constable (Mechanic) and Police Constable (Driver) posts in the Telangana Police Department. Who Can Apply
Male candidates meeting the age, educational qualification, and technical driving/mechanic qualification specific to each post may apply. Home Guards with a minimum of 360 days of continuous service within 2 years are also eligible under relaxed age norms.

Fee amount is determined dynamically on the TSLPRB online application portal based on category. A rebate of Rs.50-100 per additional post is available for candidates applying to multiple TSLPRB notifications within 3 months. Fee once paid is non-refundable.
Selection Process
Selection follows a multi-stage process: Preliminary Written Test (3-hour objective exam) → Physical Measurement Test/Physical Efficiency Test (for PWT-qualified candidates) → Final Written Examination (3-hour exam) → Certificate Verification.
