About SBI and This Recruitment

State Bank of India, recently recognized as “World’s Best Consumer Bank-2026” by Global Finance, New York, is India’s largest public sector bank, and its International Banking Group (IBG) handles the Bank’s cross-border trade finance, forex and correspondent banking operations. The Trade Finance Officer (TFO-IBG) role sits at the heart of IBG’s trade operations, with the Maker (JMGS-I) role focused on accurate transaction data entry and document handling, and the Checker (MMGS-II) role focused on validation, sanctions/AML screening and regulatory compliance as an OFAC releaser. Given that IIBF Forex Operations certification is mandatory for both grades, and additional trade finance certifications from bodies like LIBF and the ICC Academy are preferred, this recruitment is particularly suited to banking professionals who have already built domain expertise in trade finance, documentary credits and forex operations within a scheduled commercial bank, and are looking to bring that specialized experience into India’s largest public sector bank.
