ESIC Dental College Rohini Recruitment 2026: 19 Faculty Posts, Walk-in Interview

The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has invited applications for the posts of Assistant Professor and Associate Professor on contractual basis at ESIC Dental College & Hospital, Rohini, Delhi.

There are 19 posts in total. This includes 10 Assistant Professor posts and 9 Associate Professor posts in Medical and Dental departments.

The engagement will initially be for one year. It may be extended for another two years based on satisfactory performance, or until a regular faculty member joins, whichever is earlier.

The walk-in interview will be held on 8 September 2026 for Medical subjects and 9 September 2026 for Dental subjects.

Educational Qualification

The qualification and experience depend on whether the candidate is applying for a Medical Faculty or Dental Faculty post.

The notification also gives a special provision for BDS graduates having M.Sc. in Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Human Biochemistry, General Pathology, Pharmacology or Microbiology. Their qualification and experience will be considered as per the DCI circular mentioned in the advertisement.

Candidates should therefore check the applicable NMC/DCI regulations for the exact department and post before attending the interview.

Age Limit

The age limit is different for Medical and Dental faculty.

Age will be considered as per the date specified in the advertisement for determining eligibility.

Salary / Consolidated Remuneration

Selected candidates will receive consolidated monthly remuneration as prescribed by ESIC.

The amount is based on the ESIC Headquarters Office Memoranda referred to in the notification and includes the specified NPA, DA and HRA components.

No other allowances will be paid in addition to the consolidated remuneration.

Contract Period

The appointment will initially be for one year.

It can be extended for a further period of up to two years, on a year-to-year basis, subject to satisfactory performance.

The contract will also come to an end if a regular incumbent/faculty member joins, whichever is earlier.

The appointment is purely contractual. It does not give the candidate any right to claim regularisation.

Selection Process

Selection will be made solely on the basis of the walk-in interview conducted by the ESIC Selection Board.

Application Fee

The application fee for eligible non-exempt candidates is ₹500.

The fee must be paid through a Demand Draft with at least 3 months’ validity, drawn on any scheduled bank and payable at New Delhi in favour of:

“ESI Account No. 1-Central”

The DD must be issued after the advertisement date.

The fee is non-refundable.

Security Deposit

One important condition in this recruitment is the security deposit.

The selected candidate has to deposit the applicable amount through Demand Draft in favour of “ESI Account No. 1-Central”, payable at New Delhi, at the time of joining.

The amount is refundable after completion of the contract, subject to production of a No Dues Certificate.

However, if the appointed candidate terminates the contract within six months of reporting, the caution/security deposit will be appropriated towards the ESI Fund for administrative expenses.

If the contract ends because a regular faculty member joins, the deposit will be refunded.

Candidates have to bring a duly filled and signed application form in the prescribed format (Annexure-I).

Candidates working in Government, Semi-Government or Autonomous Bodies must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their present employer.
