Who Can Apply

Educational Qualification

• PGT (Physics): Master’s degree with at least 50% marks in Physics (having studied it at graduation) plus B.Ed. with 50%; OR 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.; OR 4-year/integrated PG course from an NCTE-recognized university with 50% including B.Ed.
• PGT (Computer Science): M.Sc. (CS/IT)/MCA or M.E./M.Tech. (CS/IT) with at least 50% marks, plus B.Ed. with 50% (or integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed./4-year integrated degree).
• TGT (Maths): Bachelor’s/Honours with 50% in the subject and aggregate plus B.Ed. with 50% (or 4-year integrated / B.Ed.-M.Ed. / B.Ed. Special Education routes), with Maths as main subject for 3 years, Physics for 1 year and one of Chemistry/Electronics/Computer Science/Statistics for 1 year, and CTET Paper-II qualified. B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics or Chemistry holders are not eligible.
• TGT (Sanskrit): Bachelor’s with 50% in Sanskrit and aggregate plus B.Ed. with 50% (or equivalent integrated routes), Sanskrit studied for 3 years at graduation, and CTET Paper-II mandatory.
• TGT (Science): Bachelor’s with 50% plus B.Ed. with 50% (or integrated routes), with Biology/Life Science/Botany/Zoology as main subject and Chemistry plus Botany/Zoology as subsidiary, and CTET Paper-II qualified.
• Special Educator (TGT): Graduation with 50% plus B.Ed. (Special Education) with 50%, or B.Ed. (General) with a special education diploma/PGPD, or other RCI-approved qualifications; CTET (Elementary) qualified; and valid RCI registration (CRR number).
• ATL Instructor / Vocational Instructor: B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics or Electronics & Communication with 50%, plus B.Ed. with 50%, proficiency in Hindi and English, and computer knowledge. One year of practical experience is desirable.
• Sports Teacher/Coach: B.P.Ed. or equivalent with at least 50% marks, and must have represented the State/National level in sports.
• Self-Defence Instructor for Girls: Certified instructor in Karate, Taekwondo or Judo from a recognized State or National Federation.
• Yoga Teacher: Graduation in any subject plus one year of yoga training from a recognized institution.
• Counsellor: B.A./B.Sc. (Psychology) with a Certificate/Diploma in Counselling; school counselling or placement bureau experience or RCI registration as vocational counsellor is desirable.
