Below Poverty Line (BPL): Widow → Legally Divorced/Separated → Other BPL Women → (if no eligible candidate found) Above Poverty Line (APL): Widow → Legally Divorced/Separated → Other APL Women.

If no eligible candidate is found in the Gram Sabha in any category, selection will be made category-wise from the Nyay Panchayat as per priority order.

Merit Formula

Merit = Percentage of marks in Intermediate + Percentage of marks in Graduation + (Percentage of marks in Post Graduation ÷ 10)

If multiple eligible candidates are available in the same category, a merit list will be prepared from Intermediate up to Post Graduate marks, and the candidate scoring the highest merit will be selected.

• Only one woman from the same family can be appointed as Anganwadi Karyakartri or Sahayika at the same Anganwadi Centre.
