Selection Process and Priority Order

All selection activity will be conducted by the Selection Committee as per the Government Order (GO No. 1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025 dated 17 September 2025), with approval from the District Magistrate, followed by issuance of the appointment letter. Below Poverty Line (BPL): Widow → Legally Divorced/Separated → Other BPL Women → (if no eligible candidate found) Above Poverty Line (APL): Widow → Legally Divorced/Separated → Other APL Women.

If no eligible candidate is found in the concerned area, category-wise priority selection will be made at the Nyay Panchayat level.

Merit Formula

If more than one eligible woman applicant is available in the same category, a merit list will be prepared using: Percentage of marks in Intermediate + Percentage of marks in Graduation + (Percentage of marks in Post Graduation ÷ 10). The candidate scoring the highest merit will be selected.
