Who Can Apply

Candidates who have passed SSC or an equivalent 10th class exam from a recognised board can apply for all three posts. Since this is a local district recruitment, candidates need to meet the local candidature rules explained in the notification.

Your age should be between 18 and 42 years, calculated as on 1 July 2025. Reserved category candidates, Ex-servicemen and differently abled persons get extra age relaxation, which is explained in more detail below.

Educational Qualification

The qualification requirement here is simple and applies equally to all three posts.

  • You must have passed SSC or 10th class or its equivalent from a recognised Board.

If you hold a qualification that you believe is equivalent to SSC but was issued differently, you must attach the relevant Government Order proving this equivalence. Without this document, your application will be rejected outright, so do not skip this step if it applies to you.

Age Limit

The minimum age for these posts is 18 years, and the maximum is 42 years, calculated as on 1 July 2025.

Age relaxation is available for several categories. SC, ST, BC and EWS candidates get 5 years relaxation. Ex-servicemen get 3 years relaxation, plus the length of their armed forces service. Differently abled candidates get the highest relaxation of 10 years over the standard upper age limit.

Application Fee

The application fee for this recruitment must be paid through a Demand Draft, not through any online payment method.

  • General category candidates: Rs. 600
  • SC, ST and BC candidates: Rs. 400
  • PWD candidates: Fully exempted from the fee

If you want to apply for more than one post, remember that you need a separate Demand Draft and a separate application form for each post. Also note that this fee is non-refundable, even if the notification gets cancelled for any reason.

Salary

All three posts under this recruitment carry the same fixed monthly pay of Rs. 15,000. This is a consolidated amount applicable to General Duty Attendant, Post Mortem Assistant and Office Subordinate posts alike.

Since this is a contract and outsourcing engagement, there are no separate allowances added to this amount. Even so, it offers a stable monthly income for candidates who qualify for these support staff roles in government hospitals.

Selection Process

Unlike most government jobs, this recruitment does not involve any written test or interview. Selection is based entirely on a merit list prepared out of 100 marks.

  1. Academic Marks (75 Marks): Based on your aggregate marks in the qualifying SSC examination.
  2. Experience Weightage (Up to 10 Marks): One mark is given for each completed year of experience gained after acquiring your qualification.
  3. Service Weightage (Up to 15 Marks): Extra marks are given if you have prior Contract, Outsourcing, Honorarium or COVID-19 duty experience, calculated based on your working area, such as tribal, rural or urban locations.

Since marks and prior service experience decide everything here, make sure your marks memos and any service certificates are accurate and properly attached with your application.

Documents Required

Submit two self-attested sets of the following documents along with your filled application form.

  • SSC or equivalent certificate for date of birth proof
  • Pass certificate of your qualifying examination
  • Marks memos of all years of your qualifying exam
  • Valid registration certificate in the AP Para Medical Board or relevant council, wherever applicable
  • Study certificates from Class 4 to 10, or a local residence certificate for private study candidates
  • Valid caste certificate, if claiming reservation
  • Latest EWS certificate, if applicable
  • Disability certificate issued in SADAREM, if applicable
  • Service certificate from your controlling officer, if claiming service weightage
  • Demand Draft for the application fee
  • A recent passport size photograph

Make sure every document is clear and complete, since applications missing any of these required documents will be summarily rejected without further consideration.

Application Proforma Available Online
20 July 2026 (10:00 AM) to 27 July 2026 (5:30 PM)
Last Date for Physical Submission
27 July 2026 (5:30 PM)

Do not wait until the last date to submit your application. The notification itself advises candidates to apply early and collect a dated acknowledgement as proof of submission, since last-hour rush can cause problems.

How to Apply

This recruitment follows a partly online, partly offline process. Follow these steps carefully.

  1. Visit the official portal at nandyal.ap.gov.in and download the application proforma.
  2. Fill in the application form completely and accurately.
  3. Attach two self-attested sets of all required certificates.
  4. Prepare a Demand Draft in favour of the District Coordinator of Hospital Services, Nandyal.
  5. Submit your filled application physically at the O/o District Coordinator of Hospital Services, Nandyal, inside the Government General Hospital premises.
  6. Collect a dated acknowledgement receipt from the receiving counter.

Remember that applications sent through any mode other than this physical submission process will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Why You Should Apply

This recruitment gives SSC-qualified candidates a genuine chance to secure a stable government-linked job in the health sector without appearing for any written exam. The selection process is transparent and based purely on your existing academic record and experience.

Since the merit list stays valid for a full year, even candidates who narrowly miss out in the first round could still get considered later if more vacancies open up in Nandyal District.

Preparation Tips

  • Recheck your SSC marks memo carefully, since your final marks directly decide 75% of your total score.
  • Gather any experience or service certificates early, especially if you have worked on contract, outsourcing or COVID-19 duty earlier.
  • Get your caste, EWS or disability certificates ready in advance if you are claiming any of these benefits.
  • Prepare your Demand Draft correctly in the exact name mentioned in the notification.
  • Double-check that all your documents are self-attested and complete before submission.
  • Submit your application well before the deadline to avoid last-minute counter rush.

Since there is no exam here, your main preparation lies in getting your documentation fully accurate and complete before the submission date.
