This EOI marks a significant expansion of the hospital’s critical care capacity, as the District Health Society moves to operationalize a 10-bedded ICU in its first phase, requiring a coordinated panel of specialists across cardiology, neurology, general medicine, surgery, paediatrics and obstetrics to support critically ill patients.

Why This Is a Panel-Based Engagement, Not Fixed Employment

Since Sadar Hospital is building a panel of eligible doctors rather than making a fixed number of permanent appointments, interested specialists should understand that being selected for the panel means being called upon as per the hospital’s actual requirement, with remuneration for several specialist categories tied to a per-OPD-patient rate plus a PMJAY-linked IPD package share, rather than a flat monthly salary. This model allows the hospital flexibility to scale specialist availability up or down based on patient load, while still offering panel doctors a meaningful, performance-evaluated, ongoing engagement.

A Time-Sensitive Opportunity

Given that CVs must reach the District Health Society by 02 September 2026, with the interview following almost immediately on 03 September 2026 at the Civil Surgeon Office, Koderma, interested and eligible medical professionals from Jharkhand’s private sector or newly graduated specialists not currently in government service should act quickly, gathering their MCI/State Council registration details, HPR and ABHA numbers, and qualification proofs without delay to be ready for both the CV submission and the interview stage.
