Who Can Apply

General Educational Qualification Pattern (Post-Specific)

• Project Associate-I/PAT-I: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized university, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the concerned authority as per the project’s functional requirement.
• Project Associate-II (NET/GATE)/PAT-II: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology with 2 years’ R&D experience in Industrial/Academic Institutions or S&T Organizations, OR Master’s/Integrated Master’s in Engineering/Technology from a recognized university.
• Project Assistant-I/PA-I: SSC/10th plus ITI in Fitter trade.
• Project Assistant-II/PA-II: Diploma in Engineering/Technology.
• Senior PAT: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics & Communication Engineering with 3 years’ R&D experience, OR Master’s/Integrated Master’s with 2 years’ R&D experience.

Age Relaxation

SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates get 5 years’ relaxation; OBC candidates get 3 years’ relaxation, or as per Government of India instructions issued from time to time. Documentary proof of category must be attached; failure to do so will result in the candidate not being permitted for interview.

General Conditions

• The engagement confers no right to continuation, absorption, or regularization in CSIR. It may be terminated by either side with one month’s notice or one month’s stipend in lieu thereof.
• Maximum duration in one project, or in different projects taken together at CSIR-NAL or other CSIR labs, shall not exceed 6 years in any case.
• Candidates already working at CSIR-NAL or other CSIR labs must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their Project Leader/HOD at the time of interview.
• Candidates appearing for or awaiting results of their qualifying examination are NOT eligible to attend the interview; only those who have completed their degree may attend.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in-Interview.
• The date for determining qualification and age shall be the date of the Walk-in-Interview.

2. Fill in the application completely, affixing a recent passport-size photograph.
3. Report at CSIR-NAL, RAB Meeting Complex, National Aerospace Laboratories, Adjacent to SBI NAL Branch, Kodihalli, Bengaluru-560017, on the specified interview date, between 9:00 AM and 9:45 AM, for registration and document verification. No candidates will be registered after 9:45 AM.
4. Carry the duly filled application form, Aadhaar Card/Government photo ID, latest passport-size photograph, and original certificates with one set of photocopies (including caste certificate, if applicable).
5. Candidates applying for more than one position must apply separately for each position.
