Eligibility: Qualification and Age Limit

Senior PAT (codes 17001, 17003, 17023), age limit 40 years

• M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Plant Sciences or Chemistry, or M.Pharm, as per the code.
• Plus 3 years of R&D experience in industry, academic or S&T institutions.
• Or a Ph.D. in the related subject.

Project Associate (most codes), age limit 35 years

• M.Sc. in Agriculture, Botany, Horticulture, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Zoology, Chemistry or Life Sciences, as per the code.
• Some codes accept B.Tech. or M.Tech. in Food Technology or Chemical Engineering, or M.Pharm.
• Code 17022 asks for Agri Extension, Statistics or Agribusiness Management.

Project Assistant-I (codes 17013, 17029), age limit 35 years

• Class 10 plus ITI, or SSC.
• Code 17013 prefers tissue culture experience. Code 17029 prefers ITI in welder or plumbing.

Age relaxation

• SC, ST, PwBD and women get 5 years.
• OBC candidates get 3 years.
• Age is counted on the day of the interview.

Salary Details

Selection Process

1. Candidates report for the walk-in on the date of their code.
2. The committee may hold a direct interview.
3. Or it may hold an MCQ test, then an interview the same day.
4. The number selected may differ from the posts shown.

• Self-attested copies of age, qualification and experience proofs.
