Eligibility: Qualification and Age Limit

Essential qualification (any one)

• Three or four year full-time degree in Sericulture.
• Three year degree plus a PG Diploma in Sericulture.
• Four year full-time degree in Agriculture Sciences or Forestry.
• Three year degree in Zoology, Botany, Biology or Biotechnology, plus a PG Diploma in Sericulture.
• Three year degree in Zoology, Botany, Biology or Biotechnology, plus one year in sericultural project work.

Desirable and age limit

• Work experience in silkworm rearing and grainage (pre-cocoon sector).
• Upper age limit: 35 years.
• Age and qualification are counted on 6 November 2026.
