Who Can Apply
Candidates meeting the post-wise qualification and experience can apply. Every post also needs a basic computer knowledge certificate as per Gujarat GAD resolution No. CRR-10-2007-120320-GS (13.08.2008 and 18.03.2016). The Store Keeper post is reserved for PwBD (Low Vision) candidates. Reserved-category candidates must attach a certificate in the Gujarat Government proforma.
Educational Qualification
- Internal Audit Officer: CA or equivalent, or M.Com with 55% with Advanced Accountancy/Auditing; AND 5 years’ experience as a CA, or 5 years as Class-I (Level 10) in Government Accounts service or an equivalent university post.
- Assistant Engineer (Electrical): B.E. Electrical with 2 years’ post-qualification experience, or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 5 years’ experience, in supervising erection/maintenance of electrical works.
- Assistant Civil Engineer: B.E. Civil with 2 years’ post-qualification experience, or Diploma in Civil Engineering with 5 years’ experience, in supervising erection/maintenance of civil works.
- Lab Assistant (Chemistry): Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related subject, with at least 3 years’ chemistry laboratory experience after graduation.
- Assistant Registrar: Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
- Store Keeper: Bachelor’s degree with 3 years’ experience in procurement and maintenance of stores.

Age is counted as on the last date of online application. Relaxation follows Gujarat Government rules.

- Level 8 and above posts: If there are more than 6 applicants, a written test is held and the top 6 are called for interview.
- Lab Assistant and Store Keeper: Written test only.
