BCPL Recruitment 2026: 24 Foreman, Operator, Technician & Other Non-Executive Posts

Diploma engineers, ITI holders, science graduates and HR professionals have a Central PSU opportunity. Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL), a Government of India Enterprise, has released a detailed advertisement (Advt. No. BCPL-NE/06/2026) for 24 non-executive posts. These are 21 regular posts of Foreman, Junior Superintendent (HR), Operator and Technician, plus 3 trainee posts reserved for PwBD candidates. Online applications close on 9 October 2026 at 5:00 PM.

Post-wise Vacancy Details

PwBD Trainee posts (Grade S-3, UR): Operator (Chemical) Trainee – 1 (PwBD Cat. B: D, HH); Technician (Mechanical) Trainee – 1 (Cat. D&E: ASD(M), ID, SLD, MI, combination); Accounts Assistant Trainee – 1 (Cat. A: B, LV).

Who Can Apply

Candidates with the prescribed qualification and post-qualification experience (as on 09.10.2026) can apply online for one post only. Experience must be gained after the qualification; apprenticeship training does not count. Those in Government/PSU service must have at least one year of service and apply through proper channel or bring an NOC.

Educational Qualification

• Foreman (Chemical): Diploma in Chemical/Petrochemical/Chemical Technology/Petrochemical Technology Engineering with at least 55%, plus 2 years’ post-qualification experience.
• Foreman (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 55%, plus 2 years’ experience.
• Junior Superintendent (HR): Bachelor’s degree with a Diploma in Personnel Management/Industrial Relations, at least 50% in each, plus 2 years’ experience and PC proficiency.
• Foreman (Instrumentation): Diploma in Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control / Electronics & Instrumentation / Electrical & Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical & Electronics with at least 55%, plus 2 years’ experience.
• Operator (Chemical): B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (at least 50%) or B.Sc. (Hons) Chemistry (at least 50%), plus 1 year’s experience.
• Technician (Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechanical): Matric plus ITI/NAC in Electrical/Wireman, Instrumentation, or Fitter/Diesel Mechanic/Machinist/Turner trade respectively, plus 2 years’ experience.
• PwBD Trainees: Operator (Chemical) Trainee – B.Sc. (PCM) or B.Sc. (Hons) Chemistry with 50%; Technician (Mechanical) Trainee – Matric + ITI/NAC in Fitter/Diesel Mechanic/Machinist/Turner; Accounts Assistant Trainee – B.Com. with 50% and English typing at 40 wpm on computer. No experience needed; 1-year training.

SC/ST/PwBD get relaxation in minimum marks (60/55/50% becomes 55/50/45%) against reserved vacancies.

Age Limit

Relaxation: SC/ST 5 years and OBC (NCL) 3 years on reserved posts; PwBD 10 years (General/EWS), 13 (OBC) and 15 (SC/ST); J&K domicile (01.01.1980-31.12.1989) 5 years; ex-servicemen as per rules.

Salary

Besides basic pay: IDA, perquisites at 35% of basic pay, North-East allowance at 10% of basic (if posted in NE), HRA, CMER, medical facility, PRMS and defined contribution pension scheme, as per company rules.
