Who Can Apply

Indian citizens who are Combatant Ex-Agniveers (Army, Navy or Air Force), Ex-servicemen or Ex-CAPF personnel with at least 4 years of service and a discharge certificate can apply. You must have passed SSLC/Matriculation, hold a valid two-wheeler driving licence, have a good physique, and be fluent in written and spoken English.

Educational Qualification

• Junior Security Assistant: SSLC/Matriculation or equivalent.
• Must be a Combatant Ex-Agniveer of the Indian Army, Indian Navy or Indian Air Force (Agniveervayu), an Ex-serviceman, or Ex-CAPF personnel with at least 4 years of service and a discharge certificate.
• Valid two-wheeler driving licence (upload it in the “Any Other Relevant Certificates” field of the online form).
• Essential competencies: good physique, communication and interpersonal skills, and fluency in written and spoken English.

Age Limit

The maximum age is 30 years as on the last date of receipt of applications (16 October 2026). Age relaxation is given as per Government of India norms, where applicable.

Salary

An annual increment of up to 10% is allowed, with a maximum of 4 such revisions, on the committee’s recommendation. No PF, pension, seniority or promotion benefits come with this contract post.

Job Description

• Control entry and exit of people, visitors and vehicles at gates and access points.
• Patrol the campus regularly to prevent unauthorised activity.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms and other security equipment, and report anything suspicious.
• Respond to fires, medical emergencies, natural disasters, accidents and law-and-order situations.
• Help with crowd and traffic control during Institute events and VIP visits.
• Maintain security logs, incident reports and visitor records.
• Work in shifts, including night shifts.
