• Four-year integrated degree with at least 50% marks from an NCTE-recognized institution, including the B.Ed. component.

Desirable Qualification: Experience in TGT teaching in the concerned subject at recognized institutions; experience working in a residential school; knowledge of computer application.

Remuneration: Rs. 35,750/- per month.

Subject-specific requirement: For PGT Physics and PGT History, the candidate must have studied the concerned subject or any specialization in that subject at the Graduation level. For PGT Commerce and PGT Business Studies, a Master’s Degree in Commerce is required. Proficiency in teaching in both Hindi and English medium is necessary for all PGT posts.

TGT Posts (English, Social Science)

Essential Qualification (minimum 50% marks):

• Four-year integrated degree course from an NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject(s), as well as in the aggregate, including the B.Ed. component, OR
• Bachelor’s/Honours Degree from a recognized institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject, combination of subjects as well as aggregate, together with a B.Ed. Degree from an NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks / three-year Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks / one-year B.Ed. (Special Education) from an RCI-recognized institution with at least 50% marks, OR
• Post Graduation in the concerned subject or any specialization in the concerned subject with the minimum prescribed marks.

Desirable Qualification: Representation of at least State at National Level in any Sports/Games recognized by the Sports Authority of India (SAI); working knowledge of English and Hindi; experience of working in a residential school; Diploma from the National Institute of Sports.

Remuneration: Rs. 34,125/- per month.

Subject-specific requirement: For TGT English, the candidate must have studied English as an Elective/Main subject for at least three years/six semesters in graduation, or a four-year integrated degree course. For TGT Social Science, the candidate must have studied any two subjects out of History, Geography, Economics and Political Science at graduation level, of which one must be either History or Geography, as an Elective/Main subject for at least three years/six semesters (or four-year integrated degree), with the second subject studied for at least one year/two semesters. Candidates who studied under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) with the above subject combination are also eligible to apply.

Upper Age Limit for All Categories of Teachers: 50 years, as on 1 July of the year of engagement.

Selection Process

1. Selection for the Guest Faculty teacher posts will be done based on merit through interview.
2. The date for counselling/interview will be communicated separately to shortlisted candidates; no travel allowance will be paid for attending.
3. The right to cancel this advertisement at any time rests with the Selection Committee, and no dispute regarding this will be entertained.
