About This Recruitment

This recruitment drive by the Jangaon District Collectorate reflects the increasing use of outsourcing-based staffing arrangements by district administrations in Telangana to fill essential support roles, such as Data Entry Operators and Office Subordinates, within cooperative societies and market committees operating under district-level administrative control. Since these posts are restricted to District Cadre candidates only, eligible residents of Jangaon district holding the requisite Degree/12th Class qualification along with DCA and MS-Office proficiency have a short but clear window to apply. Given the very compact timeline, from notification on 11 August to the written exam on 16 August 2026, candidates are strongly advised to prepare their documents in advance and submit their applications well within the 12-14 August window rather than waiting until the final day.

Role of the District Scheduled Castes Service Co-op Development Society and Agriculture Market Committee

The District Scheduled Castes Service Co-operative Development Society Ltd. functions under the state’s welfare administrative framework to implement schemes and support services for the Scheduled Caste community at the district level, and requires administrative support staff such as Data Entry Operators and Office Subordinates to manage its day-to-day record-keeping, data management and office operations. Similarly, the District Agriculture Market Committee, Jangaon oversees the regulation and functioning of agricultural markets (mandis) within the district, including maintaining records of market transactions, farmer registrations, and administrative correspondence, for which it requires additional Data Entry Operator support on an outsourcing basis. Both these engagements reflect a common pattern across Telangana’s district administrations, where support-staff functions in cooperative societies and market committees are increasingly filled through outsourcing arrangements managed by the District Collector’s office rather than through direct, permanent recruitment.

Tips for Candidates Applying to This Recruitment

  • Since the application window is very short (12 to 14 August 2026) and postal delays are explicitly not excused by the Selection Committee, candidates relying on registered post should dispatch their applications immediately upon notification, or better, submit in person at the District Employment Office, Jangaon.
  • Candidates applying for the Data Entry Operator posts should ensure their DCA certificate and MS-Office proficiency certificate are current, self-attested, and enclosed along with the resume, as these are mandatory qualifications for 6 of the 7 notified posts.
  • As no hall ticket or further intimation will be issued for the written exam on 16 August 2026, candidates must independently note the exam date, time and venue and arrive prepared with valid photo identification and a black or blue ball point pen.
  • Since selected candidates must maintain their headquarters at the posting location and the roles are non-transferable, candidates should factor in the local nature of these outsourcing assignments before applying.
