Why AIIMS Mangalagiri Faculty Positions Matter

AIIMS Mangalagiri is one of the newer All India Institutes of Medical Sciences established under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), aimed at correcting regional imbalance in tertiary-level healthcare and building self-sufficiency in medical education across the country. A faculty appointment at AIIMS carries the prestige, pay structure and academic infrastructure associated with India’s premier medical institutions, along with the opportunity to contribute to the growth of a developing AIIMS campus in Andhra Pradesh from a relatively early stage. For doctors and academicians with the requisite postgraduate and superspecialty qualifications, this recruitment offers a rare combination of Central Government pay scales, NPA benefits for medically qualified faculty, and long-term career growth through the assessment promotion scheme applicable across AIIMS institutions.
