B. Deputy Manager (Mechanical) – 55 Posts

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks, along with the same 10-year power sector executive experience profile described above.

C. Deputy Manager (C&I) – 40 Posts

B.E./B.Tech in Electronics or Control & Instrumentation Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks, along with the same 10-year power sector executive experience profile described above.

Note for Government/PSU Candidates: Out of the 10 years of post-qualification experience, a minimum of 2 years must be in a pay-scale of Rs.60,000-1,80,000/- or above (IDA pay scale E3 grade or above of NTPC effective 01.01.2017) or an equivalent CDA/other pay-scale. Candidates currently employed in Government/PSU organizations must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer while applying.

Age Limit

The upper age limit for all three Deputy Manager posts (Electrical, Mechanical and C&I) is 40 years. Age and experience will be computed as on the last date of the online application. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government guidelines: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC-NCL candidates, 10 years for PwBD candidates, and as admissible for Ex-servicemen.
