- ✓B.Com pass with at least 55% marks (50% for ST candidates).
- ✓Age 21 to 35 years as on 01.01.2026. Local educated unemployed youth of Chhattisgarh get 5 years relaxation, but the total age cannot go above 45 years.
- ✓Government servants and board/corporation/contract employees can apply up to 45 years.
- ✓Must be a local resident of Chhattisgarh and have a live employment registration.
- ✓Anyone who married before the legal minimum age, or married a person with a living spouse, is not eligible (the Government may relax this).

Contract Terms
- ✓Contract till 28 February 2027; may be extended by 1 more year on performance.
- ✓Governed by Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Contract Appointment) Rules 2012 and Conduct Rules 1965.
- ✓No pension, gratuity or other benefits after the contract ends. It can be ended at any time without reason.
