Across all four streams, you’ll need 1-2 years of relevant post-qualification experience, and you shouldn’t be older than 30.
Pay and Contract Terms
The initial engagement is for 1 year, extendable up to 2 years total based on performance – and your salary goes up if you make it to year two.
A few things worth knowing before you apply: there’s no separate conveyance or HRA, though WAPCOS does reimburse actual travel costs and daily allowance if you’re sent outside Delhi for work. You get 8 days of leave a year on a pro-rata basis (it doesn’t carry forward), and you won’t be entitled to residential telephone, accommodation, CGHS, or personal support staff. Income tax gets deducted at source as usual, and WAPCOS issues a TDS certificate.

- Seal it in an envelope marked “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF: [your stream]”.

- Only shortlisted candidates get contacted (by email) for an interview – bring your original documents when you’re called.

- This isn’t a regular job – it’s a panel empanelment valid for 1 year, and WAPCOS engages Young Professionals from this panel “as and when required.” There’s no guarantee of immediate engagement just because you’re empanelled.
- No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview.
