About This Recruitment

This UKSSSC Group ‘C’ recruitment is one of the largest state-level recruitment drives in Uttarakhand this year, spanning 553 posts across nearly 60 distinct post-department combinations. From Computer Sahayak roles in the Secretariat to Kanishtha Sahayak posts spread across all of Uttarakhand’s District Magistrate offices, this notification offers opportunities across a wide geographic and departmental spread, making it especially significant for candidates seeking stable Level-2 to Level-5 government employment within the state.

Why Nibandhan Lipik and Kanishtha Sahayak Dominate the Vacancy Count

With 55 Nibandhan Lipik posts in the Stamps & Registration Department and dozens of Kanishtha Sahayak posts spread across Transport, Election, Women Empowerment, Higher Education and various District Magistrate offices, clerical-cadre posts make up the overwhelming majority of the 553 total vacancies. Candidates who have passed Intermediate with the required typing speed, without necessarily needing specialized technical qualifications, therefore have by far the widest set of opportunities in this recruitment compared to more specialized roles like Computer Sahayak or Sahayak Khanij Paryaveshak.

Understanding the Horizontal Reservation Structure

Beyond the standard vertical reservation for SC, ST and OBC categories, this notification also carves out horizontal reservation within each post-department combination for Uttarakhand women, dependents of freedom fighters, Ex-Servicemen, orphans, outstanding sportspersons of Uttarakhand, and identified Uttarakhand State Movement agitators or their dependents. Candidates eligible under more than one of these horizontal categories should carefully study the detailed vacancy breakup for their specific target post, since the exact number of horizontally reserved seats varies considerably from one department to another.

Choosing the Right Post Given the Scale of This Recruitment

With 553 posts spread across such a wide range of departments and pay levels, candidates preparing for this recruitment should shortlist a manageable number of post-department combinations that match both their qualification and preferred posting location, rather than attempting to apply broadly without a clear strategy. Since each department’s vacancy count, reservation structure and specific eligibility conditions differ, spending time studying the detailed annexure for each shortlisted post before the 07 October 2026 deadline will help candidates submit a stronger, error-free application.
