Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 1 July 2026, before Press Note relaxation): 18-22 years for Post Codes 21-23, 25 & 26 (18-40 for Home Guards); 18-22 years for Warder posts. A base 5-year relaxation for uniformed services was already granted via GO Ms No. 87, further relaxed as per the Press Note above.

Educational Qualification: Must have passed Intermediate or equivalent, recognized by the State Government, as on 29 July 2026.

Technical Qualification (Post Code 26 – Fire Fighter): Valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving license as on the date of notification.

Physical Standards: Height not less than 167.6 cm (Men)/152.5 cm (Women); relaxed to 160 cm (Men)/150 cm (Women) for ST candidates from notified Agency Areas.

How to Apply

Selection Procedure

1. Preliminary Written Test (PWT): One 3-hour exam for all eligible candidates.
2. Physical Measurement Test (PMT) / Physical Efficiency Test (PET): For candidates qualifying PWT – includes 1600m/800m run (normalized scoring), height measurement, long jump, and shot put.
3. Final Written Examination (FWE): One 3-hour paper for candidates qualifying PET, for 200 marks (Post Codes 21, 26, 27, 28) or 100 marks (Post Codes 22, 23, 25). Minimum qualifying marks: 40% (OC/EWS), 35% (BC), 30% (SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen).

Terms and Conditions

• Both men and women are eligible for Post Codes 21, 22, 25, 26; only men for Post Codes 23, 27; only women for Post Code 28.
• Candidates applying for more than one TSLPRB notification within 3 months get a common PMT/PET, with fee rebates for additional posts.
• Under-aged or over-aged applicants will have their candidature rejected at any stage; fee once paid is non-refundable.
• Medical standards, including eyesight (6/6 distant vision both eyes) and freedom from listed disqualifying conditions, apply to all candidates.
