Eligibility: Qualification and Age Limit

Education

• A graduate degree from a recognised university.
• A degree or diploma in Social Work, Law, Management, Human Rights or Rehabilitation is desirable.

Experience

• At least 20 years in a Group A or equal post in the Central or State Government.
• Or in a PSU, semi-government or autonomous body in disability or social sector work.
• Or as a senior head of a registered voluntary body working in disability or social development.

Knowledge

• Special knowledge or practical experience of the rehabilitation of persons with disabilities.

Age limit

• Below 56 years on 1 January of the year of the last date.

Selection Process

1. A Search-cum-Selection Committee picks a panel of 3 candidates.
2. The State Government makes the final choice.
