TIFT Tripura Recruitment 2026: 12 Consultant, Research Associate and Communications Posts, Apply by 15 October

Tripura Institution for Transformation (TIFT), set up under the General Administration (Good Governance) Department, Government of Tripura, to coordinate NITI Aayog initiatives in the state, has invited online applications for 12 contractual posts (Ref. No. 7(5)/GA(GG)/2026, dated 29/09/2026). The posts include Senior Consultant, Consultant, Research Associates, Program Coordination Associates and Communications staff. Who Can Apply

Indian citizens with the degree and experience given below can apply. Age is counted as on the date of publication of the advertisement. The engagement does not give any right to a regular job with the Government of Tripura or TIFT.

Educational Qualification and Experience

• Senior Consultant – Governance Strategy & Public Affairs: Master’s in Public Policy, Political Science, Governance, Economics, Law, Public Administration, International Relations, Management or related; minimum 5 years in governance consulting, PMUs, executive governance-support systems, transformation missions, public affairs, governance communications or programme coordination. Desirable: PG from a reputed public policy/governance/management institution; M&E or governance analytics certification; work with State/Central departments or NITI Aayog-aligned institutions.
• Consultant – Governance Monitoring & Coordination: Master’s in Public Policy, Business Administration, Political Science, Governance, Economics, Law, Public Administration, International Relations, Management or related; minimum 5 years in governance consulting, PMUs, M&E systems, programme implementation or strategy and operations. Desirable: M&E, data analytics or project management certification; dashboard-based review experience.
• Governance Research Associate: Master’s in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, Governance, Development Studies, Journalism, Public Administration or related; minimum 1 year in governance/public-policy research, policy consulting, legislative/regulatory research or analytical briefs.
• Policy Research Associate: Same degree as above; minimum 1 year in policy research or analytical reports. Desirable: government programme data, PMUs, M&E, survey data, dashboards, advanced spreadsheets and data-visualisation tools.
• Executive / Field / Data & Documentation Program Coordination Associate: Graduate in any discipline; OR Higher Secondary with a relevant diploma (such as Computer Application) plus demonstrable relevant work experience. Minimum 1 year in executive office/secretariat coordination (Executive), field programme implementation and outreach (Field), or data entry, MIS and records management (Data & Documentation). Field role: knowledge of Bengali / Hindi / Kokborok and Tripura’s districts is desirable.
• Digital Communications Manager: Graduate/PG in Mass Communication, Journalism, Digital Media, PR, Communication, Marketing or related; minimum 5 years in digital communications, public outreach, social-media operations or campaign management.
• Senior Content & Public Information Associate: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, PR or related; minimum 3 years in content development, governance communications or public affairs.
• Communications Associate: Graduate in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, Political Science, English or related; minimum 1 year in digital communications, content or outreach.
• Multimedia Communications Associate: Graduate degree/diploma in Multimedia, Film & Video Editing, Animation, Digital Media or related; minimum 1 year in video editing or multimedia production. A portfolio / showreel must be submitted.
• Creative Communications Associate: Graduate degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, Fine Arts or related; minimum 1 year in graphic design or social-media creatives. A design portfolio must be submitted.

Age Limit

Maximum 50 years for posts 1 to 7, and maximum 40 years for posts 8 to 12 (communication posts), as on the date of publication of the advertisement.
