Eligibility

• Only women applicants are eligible for the post of Anganwadi Karyakartri.
• Minimum qualification: Intermediate (12th standard) pass. Candidates with higher qualification up to Post-Graduation may also apply; merit will be prepared based on the percentage obtained in Intermediate/Graduation/Post-Graduation. High School marks are not included in merit calculation.
• Age: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 35 years, reckoned as on 1 July 2026. Only the date of birth mentioned in the High School mark sheet/certificate is valid for age calculation.
• The applicant must be a resident of the same Gram Sabha (for rural areas) or the same Ward (for urban areas) for which she is applying.

1. First Priority (Below Poverty Line families of the same village/ward):
   1. Widow women of BPL families
   2. Legally divorced or deserted women of BPL families
   3. If no widow/divorced/deserted woman from a BPL family is available, other women from BPL families of the same village/ward
2. Second Priority (Above Poverty Line families of the same village/ward, if first priority candidates are unavailable):
   1. Widow women of APL families
   2. Legally divorced or deserted women of APL families
   3. If no widow/divorced/deserted woman from an APL family is available, other women from APL families of the same village/ward

For widow candidates, a death certificate and family register extract issued by the Gram Panchayat Adhikari/concerned urban body is required. For divorced/deserted women, a valid legal court order is required.

• Selection for Anganwadi Karyakartri posts follows the process laid down in UP Government Order No. 1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025(1917687) dated 17.09.2025.
• The poverty line income limit follows the criteria fixed under Social Welfare Section-2 GO No. 22/2015/2123/26-2-2025 dated 14.09.2015 (as amended), separately for rural and urban areas.
• As per the Government Order dated 17.09.2025, two women from the same family cannot be appointed as Anganwadi Karyakartri and Sahayika at the same Anganwadi Centre.
• Applicants must upload income certificate, caste certificate, and residence certificate in their own name, with correct details matching the online application.
• If any factual/data/educational document is found incorrect or fabricated at any stage, the application will be rejected.
