Eligibility: Qualification and Age Limit

Education

• Class 12 pass with at least 50% marks from a recognised board. The 50% rule is waived for SC, ST, ex-servicemen and PwBD.
• Or Class 10 pass with an ITI or NAC for Technician Grade III.

Cultural qualification

• Classical dance: Bharatanatyam, Kathakali, Kathak, Manipuri, Odissi or Kuchipudi.
• Instrumental music: Flute, Violin, Veena, Sitar or Sarod.
• A degree, diploma or certificate in that discipline from a recognised institute.

Age limit

• 18 to 30 years on 1 January 2027.
• 3 years extra for OBC and 5 years extra for SC and ST.

Preferred

• Performance on All India Radio or Doordarshan.
• National level awards or prizes.

Salary Details

Selection Process

1. Stage 1: written test with objective questions and negative marking.
2. Stage 2: practical demonstration (35 marks) and testimonials (15 marks).
3. Medical fitness as per Railway rules.
