Who Can Apply

• Qualification: MBBS with a Postgraduate Degree/Diploma/DNB in the concerned specialty from a recognized University/Institution, with valid registration with the Delhi Medical Council (DMC).
• You must not have completed 3 years of Senior Residency in any recognized institution (including regular and ad-hoc service). If fresh PG candidates aren’t available, candidates who’ve completed 3 years of Senior Residency may also be considered under relaxed provisions.
• Age Limit (as on date of interview): Maximum 45 years, relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 5 years extra for Persons with Disabilities.

Tenure

The total tenure of Senior Residency is 3 years, including any earlier service rendered as Senior Resident on ad-hoc/regular basis. Each appointment is initially for 44 days, or until the post is filled on a regular basis by the Centralized Recruitment Committee (whichever is earlier), and can be extended up to a maximum of 3 years subject to a satisfactory work and conduct report.

1. Report to the Administrative Block, SDDMASC, Dabri, New Delhi-45, on 30 September 2026, between 9:00 AM and 11:30 AM for registration.
2. Bring the duly filled application form (in the prescribed format) along with the checklist, and one set of self-attested photocopies of all documents.
3. Carry your originals for verification: 10th class certificate (DOB/residence proof), MBBS degree with mark sheets, internship completion certificate, MD/MS/DNB/Diploma/DMC registration certificate, caste/EWS/non-creamy-layer certificate (if applicable), and experience certificate if any.
4. If you’re currently in Government service, bring a No Objection Certificate from your employer.
5. Applicants without complete documents at the time of interview will not be allowed to appear.

Other Important Points

• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview, and no separate call letters will be sent.
• All ad-hoc Senior Residents (Non-PG/relaxed category) currently working at SDDMASC should also apply and appear for this recruitment round.
• If selected, you must submit your acceptance within 72 hours and join within 7 working days of the offer, failing which the offer stands automatically cancelled.
• Results will be displayed on www.health.delhigovt.nic.in and the SDDMASC notice board.
