Eligibility

A. Assistant Professor – Liberal Discipline and Pedagogy (Social Science / Language)

1. 1Post-Graduate degree in Social Sciences (History, Geography, Political Science or Economics) or Languages (English, Odia) with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
2. 2B.Ed. with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
3. 3NET or SLET, or Ph.D. in Education or in the concerned subject, as prescribed by UGC.

Desirable: M.Ed. (or M.Ed. with specialisation); Ph.D. in Education.

B. Assistant Professor – Educational Studies

1. 1Post-Graduate degree in Education (M.Ed.) with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
2. 2NET or SLET, or Ph.D. in Education, or any other qualification prescribed by UGC.

Desirable: Master’s degree in Psychology, Philosophy, Sociology or allied subjects.

Remuneration and Tenure

• ✓Remuneration: Negotiable (no figure is given in the notice).
• ✓Page 1 says the tenure is initially one year, extendable up to 5 years on a year-to-year basis with a one-day break, based on performance.
• ✓Page 2 says the appointment is up to 30 May 2027, extendable up to 5 years on a year-to-year basis with a one-day break.
