Department wise posts

Eligibility: Qualification and Age Limit

Professor (age up to 70 years)

• DM, M.Ch., MD or MS (or DNB) in the specialty.
• Teaching experience as set for each department (often 4 years as Additional Professor).
• First, second or corresponding author in 6 publications.

Associate Professor (age up to 55 years)

• DM, M.Ch., MD or MS (or DNB) in the specialty.
• Three years as Assistant Professor, or teaching experience as set by NMC norms.
• Three original papers in indexed journals, one as first author.

Assistant Professor (age up to 50 years)

• DM, M.Ch., MD or MS (or DNB) in the specialty.
• Senior Residency or teaching experience as set for the department.
• Two original papers in indexed journals, one as first author.

Senior Resident and EMO (age up to 45 years)

• Senior Resident: MD, MS or DNB in the related subject.
• Emergency Medical Officer: MD Medicine or MS General Surgery.
• Punjabi passed up to Matric level, or equal standard.

Selection Process

1. Registration and document screening at 12:00 PM on 16 October 2026.
2. Interview from 1:00 PM the same day.
3. The institute may limit the number of candidates called.

• MBBS, MD, MS, DM or M.Ch. degree certificates.
