• Senior Legal Fellow: Graduate/Postgraduate in Law with minimum 5 years’ litigation experience before Trial Courts, preferably criminal law.
• Junior Legal Fellow: Graduate/Postgraduate in Law with 2-5 years’ litigation experience, preferably criminal law.
• Social Worker: MSW (Master of Social Work) with prior field experience in criminal justice, rehabilitation, or community work.
• Documentation Officer: Graduate/Postgraduate in Law, Social Work, Journalism, Public Policy, Humanities, or related field, with 2+ years’ experience in documentation/research/report writing.
• Office Support Staff: 12th pass, with basic operational knowledge of office equipment (photocopying, printing, scanning, file management).

What the Project Involves

MNLU Mumbai’s new project has two parts: the Legal Aid Programme, which provides comprehensive legal aid and representation to about 750 under-trial prisoners in Arthur Road and Taloja Jail, helping with rights awareness and timely bail interventions; and the Continuing Legal Education Programme, aimed at building practical litigation skills – trial advocacy, evidence analysis, courtroom practice – among new lawyers headed for District and Sessions Courts.
