Who Can Apply

Indian citizens with the degree and experience below can apply. Candidates must be willing to be posted anywhere in Kerala, travel widely in and outside the state, and work beyond office hours. They should be able to write clearly in English and Malayalam.

Educational Qualification and Experience

• Chief Engineer (Projects & Civil Works): B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent recognised by the University of Kerala. Must be a retired Chief Engineer from PWD/CPWD who worked in design and construction of major buildings, with at least 10 years of experience in building construction.
• Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical): B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent recognised by the University of Kerala. At least 10 years of experience as Assistant Engineer (Electrical) or equivalent in Government departments/projects, or with an A Class Contractor licence for Assistant Engineer (Electrical) or equivalent position.

Preference and weightage for: knowledge of Government procedure, design of multi-storey buildings, AutoCAD, Excel, project management software, estimates using PRICE software, (e-)Measurement Book recording, e-tendering, bill preparation and supervision of PMC works. Age and experience may be relaxed for exceptionally qualified candidates.

Age Limit

Chief Engineer: up to 65 years. Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical): up to 50 years. Age is counted as on 01.09.2026.

Salary

Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical): Rs 50,000 per month (consolidated). Chief Engineer: remuneration as per re-employment rules for those retired from Government service.

Selection Process

• Scrutiny of applications and shortlisting.
• Interview of shortlisted candidates.
• CMD may add screening, written test, group discussion, skill test or other methods if needed.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be informed by email, SMS or phone.
