Who Can Apply

Indian citizens with the required Master’s degree and teaching/administrative experience can apply. Those already in service must apply through proper channel or attach a No Objection Certificate from their employer.

Educational Qualification

• Registrar: Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade), and at least 15 years as Assistant Professor at Academic Level-11 and above, or 8 years at Academic Level-12 and above including as Associate Professor, with at least 5 years as an educational administrator.
• Academic Registrar and Controller of Examination: Master’s degree with at least 55%; and at least 15 years as Assistant Professor at Level-11 and above or 8 years at Level-12 and above including as Associate Professor, with 5 years as an educational administrator; or comparable experience in a research establishment/higher education institution; or 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or equivalent. Desirable: experience conducting university examinations at executive level, handling confidential work and computerisation of examinations. Working knowledge of computers and networking is mandatory.
• Deputy Controller of Examination: Master’s degree with at least 55%, at least 9 years as Assistant Professor, and at least 5 years of administrative experience.
• Deputy Registrar: Master’s degree with at least 55%, at least 9 years as Assistant Professor, and at least 5 years of administrative experience.
• Finance Officer: Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of finance and accounts experience in a university, government organisation or PSU. Desirable: Master’s in Commerce/Economics/Statistics and Tally/relevant software skills.

Selection Process

• A Screening Committee scrutinises all applications and shortlists candidates.
• Only shortlisted candidates are called for an interview before the Selection Committee.
• Meeting the minimum criteria does not guarantee an interview call.
• Posts are temporary until confirmed after at least one year of probation.
• Selected candidates must join within one month of the appointment order. No TA/DA for interviews.
