  • Used only to shortlist candidates for the Skill Test — written test marks are not carried forward to the final merit.
  • Candidates are shortlisted for the Skill Test at 15 times the number of vacant posts, based on merit in the written test.

Phase 2: Skill Test (100 Marks)

  • Candidates must accurately type a 250-word Hindi passage on computer (Ubuntu Linux system, Unicode) within 10 minutes.
  • 0.25 marks deducted for each error, including errors in heading, bold, paragraph, setting, and typing.

The final selection list and category-wise waiting list are prepared based on Skill Test marks alone. The waiting list is valid for 1 year from the date of result declaration. In case of a tie, priority is given to the candidate with an earlier date of birth; if that is also equal, priority is given to the candidate with higher graduation marks.

Why You Should Apply for This Post

With 10 vacancies across three specialized clerical posts in the Chhattisgarh judiciary, this recruitment offers graduates with computer diploma qualifications a stable government career at Level-4 pay scale, with a defined 3-year probation period leading to regular service.

Preparation Tips

Since the written test covers General Knowledge, Computer, Internet, and Chhattisgarh Current Affairs and serves only as a shortlisting stage, candidates should aim to maximize accuracy to secure a place in the top 15x shortlist. For the Skill Test, since even formatting errors (heading, bold, paragraph, setting) are penalized, candidates should practice typing complete passages carefully on Ubuntu Linux with Unicode fonts, rather than focusing on speed alone.
