JSSC Para Teacher Recruitment 2026: Registration Reopened till 18 October for 6101 Regular and 1198 Backlog Posts

The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC), Ranchi, conducts the Jharkhand Trained Assistant Acharya (Para Category) Combined Competitive Examination 2026 (JTAACCE-2026). It has two advertisements: No. 04/2026 (Regular Vacancy) and No. 05/2026 (Backlog Vacancy for reserved categories, 1198 posts). The posts are Trained Assistant Acharya for Class 1-5 (Intermediate) and Class 6-8 (Graduate – Language, Social Science, Science & Maths). Eligible para teachers can now register on jssc.jharkhand.gov.in till 18 October 2026.

Vacancy Details

Please note: The district-wise tables in the Regular brochure add up to 6101 posts, but the Backlog brochure says Advt. 04/2026 has 6106 posts. Please check the official notice for the final number. District-wise and category-wise tables are given in both brochures.

One application covers both advertisements, with a single exam fee, and there will be one common exam.

Educational Qualification

Class 1-5 (Intermediate TAA): 12th (or equivalent) with at least 50% and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), OR 12th with 45% and D.El.Ed as per NCTE 2002 rules (sessions up to 2007-2009), OR 12th with 50% and 4-year B.El.Ed, OR 12th with 50% and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education), OR Graduation with 2-year D.El.Ed; AND pass in JTET for Class 1-5.

Class 6-8 (Graduate TAA): A 3-year graduation in the relevant subject group (Science/Maths group for Science & Maths; Arts/Humanities/Social Science/Commerce/Management for Social Science; a notified language for Language teachers), plus D.El.Ed or B.Ed / B.El.Ed / B.A.B.Ed / B.Sc.B.Ed or B.Ed (Special Education) or 3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed as prescribed; AND pass in JTET for Class 6-8.

• Jharkhand residents who passed CTET or a TET of a neighbouring state may be included, but must pass JTET within 3 years of appointment, at the first chance.
• 5% relaxation in minimum marks for SC/ST/EBC-I/BC-II/PwBD; 7% for PVTG candidates.
• You will be appointed only in the subject/subject group of your TET.
• Qualification must be held by the last date of online application.

Age Limit (as on 01.08.2026)

Minimum age 21 years. Ex-Servicemen get 5 extra years and PwBD get 10 years. Serving JEPC para teachers with at least 2 years of continuous service get relaxation equal to their contract service period, up to a maximum age of 58 years.

Application Fee

The fee is non-refundable. Non-Jharkhand or non-SC/ST candidates who pay the concession rate may have their form rejected. JSSC will announce the fee payment dates in a separate notice.

Salary

Intermediate Trained Assistant Acharya (Class 1-5): Pay Level-4, Rs 25,500 – 81,100. Graduate Trained Assistant Acharya (Class 6-8): Pay Level-5, Rs 29,200 – 92,300.

Selection Process and Exam Pattern

Selection is through a written exam (objective, CBT/OMR), followed by document verification. There is no interview.

Minimum qualifying marks for merit: UR/EWS 40%, BC-II 36.5%, EBC-I 34%, SC/ST and Women 32%, PVTG 30%. Please check the brochure for the full exam scheme and syllabus.

How to Apply

1. Visit https://jssc.jharkhand.gov.in and log in to the JTAACCE-2026 application.
2. Register between 29-09-2026 and 18-10-2026 (midnight). You can choose Advt. 04/2026, 05/2026 or both in one form.
3. Upload photo and signature by 22-10-2026.
4. Pay the exam fee when JSSC announces the payment window.
5. Correct your form (if needed) on 23-24 October 2026. Name, date of birth, e-mail and mobile cannot be changed.
6. Keep your para teacher experience certificate and clearance certificate in the prescribed format (Annexure XV and XVI) ready.
