• System Analyst (Level-11): Analogous post or 5 years in Level-10; plus Master’s in Computer Applications/M.Sc.(CS/IT) or B.E./B.Tech in Computer/IT field, with 5 years’ relevant experience.
• Computer Programmer (Level-10): Analogous post or 3 years in Level-7; plus Master’s in Computer Applications/CS/IT or B.E./B.Tech in relevant field, with 3 years’ experience.
• Purchase Officer (Level-10): Analogous post, or 2 years in Level-8, or 3 years in Level-7; plus a PG Degree/Diploma in Materials Management (MBA/Diploma in Material Management with medical procurement experience desirable).
• Data Processing Assistant Grade A (Level-7): Analogous post or 5 years in Level-6; plus Master’s in Computer Applications or B.E./B.Tech in relevant Computer field.
• Assistant Registrar (Level-7): Analogous post or 3 years in Level-6; plus a Degree with 3 years’ experience in admissions/examinations in a University/Educational Institution.
• Assistant Controller of Examinations (Level-10, Karaikal): Analogous post, or 2 years in Level-8, or 5 years in Level-6; plus a Graduate degree with 3 years’ experience in academic/conduct of examinations.
• Accounts Officer (Level-9, Karaikal): Analogous post or 3 years in Level-7; plus Graduate in Commerce/Economics (with Accounts & Audit) with SAS exam passed, or Chartered Accountant.

Upper Age Limit: Not exceeding 56 years as on closing date.

Deputation Period

• Computer Programmer, Purchase Officer, and Data Processing Assistant Grade A at JIPMER, Puducherry: deputation period shall not exceed 1 year.
• For all remaining posts, the initial period of deputation is ordinarily 3 years from the date of appointment, extendable as per DoPT orders.

• Photocopies of APARs for the past 5 years, attested by an Officer not below Under Secretary rank
