Eligibility: Qualification and Age Limit

MLHP, CHO or Medical Officer

• MBBS with TS Medical Council registration.
• Or BAMS with Board of Indian Medicine registration.
• Or B.Sc Nursing staff nurse with TS Nursing Council registration, with the CPCH bridge programme if graduated before 2020.
• Preference goes to MBBS, then BAMS, then B.Sc Nursing, then GNM.

Doctors, Nurses and Lab posts

• Paediatrician: MD (Paediatrics), or DCH, or MBBS, with medical council registration.
• Physician: MD in General Medicine or MBBS.
• Staff Nurse: B.Sc Nursing or GNM with TS Nursing Council registration.
• Lab Technician: MLT, DMLT or B.Sc (MLT) with Paramedical Board registration.
• STLS: graduate or diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, a two wheeler licence and a 2 month computer course.

Other posts

• Early Interventionist: M.Sc in Disability Studies, or PG Diploma in Early Intervention, with a basic therapy or medical degree. Or B.Ed Special Education.
• District Programme Coordinator: MBA or PG Diploma in Management or Health Administration, 1 year of experience and basic computer knowledge.
• 2nd ANM: SSC with 18 months MPHW (F) training, or an equivalent course.

Age limit

• Age: 18 to 44 years as on 1 July 2026.
• Relaxation: 5 years for SC, ST, BC and EWS. 10 years for PwD. 3 years for NCC.
• Ex-servicemen get 3 years, only for Medical Officer posts.

Salary Details

Selection Process

1. The District Selection Committee under the District Collector selects candidates.
2. Total marks are 100: 90 for the qualifying exam marks and 10 for age.
3. Age marks: 0.5 for each completed year above 18, up to 10 marks.
4. A separate merit list is made for each post category.
5. MLHP posts follow a priority order of MBBS, BAMS and Staff Nurse.

• SSC or date of birth certificate.
• Intermediate or 10+2 certificate.
• Qualifying exam pass certificate and marks memos of all years.
• Registration certificate of the council or board.
• Community, EWS, non-creamy layer, Ex-servicemen, NCC or PH certificate, if applicable.
• Study certificate from 4th to 10th class, experience and training certificates, and one photograph.
• Demand Draft for the fee.
