Eligibility: Qualification and Age Limit

Medical posts

• Anaesthetist: Diploma or M.D. in Anaesthesia.
• Paediatrician or Medical Officer: MBBS, plus MD (Paediatrics) or DCH. Registered with a State Medical Council.
• Psychiatrist: MD in Psychiatry or equivalent. Desirable: 2 years of experience as a specialist.

Nursing and other posts

• 2nd ANM: SSC and 18 months MPHW (F) training, or an equivalent vocational course.
• Staff Nurse: B.Sc Nursing or GNM, registered with the TS Nursing Council.
• Physiotherapist: bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy with 3 years of experience.
• Lab Technician: Intermediate with DMLT or B.Sc (LT), registered with the Paramedical Board.
• Counsellor: bachelor’s in Social Sciences, or a degree or diploma in Counselling, Health Education or Mass Communication.

Age limit

• Age: 18 to 44 years as on 1 July 2026.
• Relaxation: 5 years for SC, ST, BC and EWS. 10 years for PwD. 3 years for NCC.
• Ex-servicemen get 3 years, only for Medical Officer posts.

Selection Process

1. Candidates sit a written exam on 11 October 2026.
2. Marks: 90 for the written exam and 10 for age and the qualifying exam.
3. A separate merit list is made for each post category.
4. The selection list follows the rules of reservation.
5. The merit list is shown on the District Collector website.

• SSC or equivalent certificate.
• Intermediate or 10+2 certificate.
• Qualifying exam pass certificate and marks memos of all years.
• Valid registration certificate of the council or board.
• Caste, EWS, Ex-servicemen or PH certificate, if applicable.
