What the Role Involves

How to Apply

  1. Fill the application form with all requested details and upload scanned copies of certificates and supporting documents through apply.iitjammu.ac.in.
  2. Apply through the relevant “Contract Staff/Project Staff/JRF/SRF” section on the portal.
  3. Ensure you provide a valid email ID and mobile number – shortlisted candidates will be informed only by email.
  4. Applications must be submitted online by 28 September 2026.

Merely meeting the prescribed qualification doesn’t guarantee an interview call – shortlisting is based on merit and the project’s requirements. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an online or physical interview, with no TA/DA paid for attending.

Why This Opportunity Matters

Third Party Quality Assurance work on a project as significant as Jammu Airport gives civil engineers direct, hands-on exposure to large-scale infrastructure quality control – work that carries real institutional weight since it’s routed through IIT Jammu. For experienced civil engineers and safety/environment specialists, even the shorter 2-4 month tenures here offer a chance to add a credible IIT-linked infrastructure project to their profile.
