Eligibility Criteria

Who Can Apply

• Diploma Apprentice: A diploma in engineering/technology from a recognized state board in the relevant branch. The gap between passing and starting the apprenticeship cannot be more than 5 years.
• Engineering Graduate Apprentice: B.E. or B.Tech in the relevant branch, with the same 5-year rule.
• General Stream Graduate Apprentice: B.Com or B.Sc (Electronics, Computers, Chemistry, Nursing) from a recognized university, with no more than 5 years between graduation and apprenticeship start.

Who Is Not Eligible

• Candidates who have already completed an apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act anywhere in India.
• Candidates currently enrolled in or already registered for another apprenticeship.
• Candidates who plan to join any full-time course during the training year.
• OBC candidates without a valid Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate; reservations for other categories apply as per rules.

There is no separate age limit, but the 5-year window after graduation/diploma is strictly followed.

Stipend
