Who Can Apply

Candidates with the required qualification and experience, aged up to 45 years, who have a 15 years Goa residence certificate, a valid employment registration card and know Konkani can apply. Knowledge of Marathi is desirable for all posts.

Educational Qualification and Experience

• Architect: Degree in Architecture from a recognized University; registered with the Council of Architecture; 3 years professional experience in Architectural Design; knowledge of Konkani.
• Assistant Engineer (Civil): Degree in Civil Engineering; 3 years experience in construction and maintenance in Civil Engineering works; knowledge of Konkani.
• Junior Engineer (Civil): Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/State Board; 2 years experience in the relevant field; knowledge of Konkani.
• Junior Engineer (Electrical): Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Board; 2 years experience in the relevant field; knowledge of Konkani.
• Supervisor: Degree in Civil Engineering, or H.S.S.C. with Diploma in Civil Engineering; 1 year experience as draughtsman; knowledge of AutoCAD; knowledge of Konkani.
• Draughtsman: Degree in Civil Engineering, or H.S.S.C. with Diploma in Civil Engineering; 1 year experience as draughtsman; knowledge of AutoCAD; knowledge of Konkani.
• Technician: S.S.C. with NCVT ITI Certificate in Electrical/Plumber trade; 1 year experience in the relevant field; knowledge of Konkani.
• Lower Division Clerk: Higher Secondary School Certificate, or AICTE-approved Diploma from a State Board of Technical Education, or equivalent; computer knowledge with typing speed of 30 words per minute; knowledge of Konkani.
• Multi Tasking Staff: S.S.C. (10th) pass, or ITI course in a relevant trade; knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Marathi and skills like operating office machines including computers.
• Driver (LMV): S.S.C. (10th) pass or ITI course; driving licence for light vehicles. (In the notice, “Knowledge of Konkani” is struck through for this post.)

Age Limit

Not more than 45 years. Relaxation for government servants and reserved categories as per Government orders. Age and all other eligibility are counted as on 12/10/2026 (closing date).

Selection Process

• Written examination and computer test, as applicable.
• Merit is based only on marks in the written/online exam. No marks are given for educational qualifications.
• For equal marks, the older candidate is placed higher; if the date of birth is also the same, the one with higher qualification is placed higher.
• Call letters/SMS will be sent. The eligible list and result will be on the GRB notice board and www.goa.gov.in.
